Alan Miles Poole, aged 75, passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2024 surrounded by his children and wife in the comfort of his home. He was born on March 27, 1949 in Gaffney,
South Carolina, to Edgar Morgan Poole and Malinda Denise Black. He was the second of six children.

Alan was a proud resident of South Carolina and a 1967 graduate of Gaffney Senior High School. He honorably served a Spanish speaking mission in North Texas and brought many
souls to Christ. His service to the Lord had a generational impact upon families who continue to do the Lord’s work in spreading the gospel.

Alan graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. He then did the sensible thing and opened a sandwich shop in downtown Boise. He married Lenette
Darlene Neilsen on August 22, 1981, in Pocatello, Idaho. With Lenette’s help running the sandwich shop, Alan started pursuing a career in finance. He began as a stockbroker for EF
Hutton and quickly displayed a prudence for wise investment strategy. He went on to found multiple successful companies.

Alan was a friend to all, and his southern manners and ready charm helped him easily connect with people from all walks of life. He was always very outgoing and loved traveling the world
with his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Lenette Poole; son Blake (Janelle) Poole and grandchildren Ryder, Avery, Hazyl, Brooke, and Kaylee, daughter Andrea (Nate) Meikle and grandchildren Carson,
Wensley, Briella, and Adilee, son Miles Poole, and son Matthew (Kelsie) Poole and grandchildren Finn and Cooper; brothers, Benjamin (Marilyn) Poole, Edgar (Marilyn) Poole,
Phillip Poole; and many nieces, and nephews.

Family, friends and others are invited to attend a viewing at 10 AM preceding the funeral at 11AM at the The Church of Latter Day Saints, 6375 N Royal Park Ave, Boise, ID
83713, on September 11th 2024, to reminisce and celebrate the life of Alan Poole.
