Walt was a long-time resident of Idaho where he lived since early childhood. He joined the Army National Guard before going on his church mission to the southern states and then joined the Army Reserves when he came home. He entered apprenticeship plumbing school, became a journeymen plumber and began lifelong plumbing career. Walt was always available to help family, friends and neighbors with anything plumbing or building related the rest of his life. He will be sorely missed by all he helped.
He could grow anything from beautiful flowers to fantastic watermelons and everything in between. A passion he developed in childhood with his mother and it carried throughout his life. He also enjoyed raising a variety of animals, especially peacocks in the later years.
The viewing begins 9:00 a.m., with the funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Star Idaho on S. Main St.
