Trina Denise Steelsmith-QueenJanuary 12, 1968 ~ December 31, 2017 (age 49)
Trina Denise Steelsmith-Queen was born to Dick & Roberta Fuller in Napa, California. On this day, January 12, 1968 Trina joined her older brother & sister. Three years later another brother joined the Fuller family. Trina and her family resided in California until the family moved to Idaho when Trina was in first grade. Nampa, Idaho soon became her forever home.
Trina attended Vallivue High school where she was in honor society and made the top of her class. School, 4-H, fishing and camping were a few of her favorite things to do. Trina accomplished two bachelor degrees at NNC which led her to her accounting career. In college Trina met and married James Steelsmith, three children came from this union. In 2011, she married her current husband Randy Queen.
Trina stayed busy with her own business as an ATP accountant. She took pride in her work and was always dedicated to her clients. She didn’t mind working with numbers and during stressful times like tax season.
In 2010 Trina was first diagnosed breast cancer, with surgery and treatment the cancer was removed. The cancer was in remission. In 2015 the cancer returned as stage 4 cancer throughout her body. She fought hard and never gave up even after the chemo quit working. Trina wanted to live comfortably and enjoy whatever time she had left close with her family. She began to struggle with daily living because of severe pain. Trina passed on December 31, 2017 in the comfort of her home with her family near.
Trina was proceeded in death of her sister Tami Harris, and her grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Kraus, Florence and William Clyde Fuller.
Trina is survived by husband Randy Queen of Nampa, Daughter Jessica Brown of Nampa, sons Dustin (Amanda) Steelsmith of Nampa, Trevor Steelsmith of Nampa, parents Dick and Bobbi Fuller of Nampa, Brothers Chad (Becki) Fuller of Nampa, Rick Fuller of Mooresville N.C., stepchildren Zach Queen, Matthew Queen and Nicole Queen of Meridian, Shawna (Robbie) Moulder of Boise, 9 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank St Luke’s Misti Nampa and St Luke’s Hospice team for their dedication and care that they gave to Trina.
Memorial service will be held at Franklin Community Church in Nampa, Idaho on January 12, 2018 at 11:00 am.
