Tim Bacharach, 60, of Meridian, Idaho passed away after a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. He was an amazing example of courage and patience in difficult times.
Tim was born on September 3, 1957 to Billy B. and Priscilla (Deavitt) Bacharach in Lewiston, Idaho. He married his sweetheart, the love of his life, Sherri (Shiflet) Bacharach on October 19, 1991.
He spent his formative years in Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington. He enjoyed venturing throughout Lewiston on his bike, motorcycle, and sports car. After a year spent at the University of Idaho, Tim attended Boise State University, where he studied Business Administration.
He loved Boise and helped many families settle in the area as a realtor in the Boise Valley for 30 years. He was a lifetime member of the Ada County Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence; he had many repeat clients and referrals because of his great care for his clients.
Tim had a zest for life and was especially active—waking up early in the morning to hit the gym and work on his yard. He loved spending time outdoors mountain biking, hiking, golfing, and enjoying the beautiful scenery of Idaho. He was a proud Boise State football fan, never missing an opportunity to watch a game.
Tim had a heart of gold and never met someone he didn’t want to talk with; he was a friend to anyone who crossed his path. Between his jokes and lively personality, he was a delight to be around. His family was his first priority and greatest source of joy. He found a whole new level of love as a grandpa and was so fun with his grandkids. He found peace and comfort in recent years through his conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Tim is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Sherri; son, Kyle (Kayte); daughter, Brooke (Michael) Riggs of Idaho Falls; sister, Kristin Harris of Portland, Oregon; brother, David, of Wenatchee, Washington; and cherished grandchildren, Lincoln, Turner, Holland, and Easton. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ann.
Tim will be remembered with love by all who knew him. His family would like to send a special thank-you to Doctor Bridges, his nurse, Andrea, and the volunteers and nurses at MSTI in Meridian for the excellent care that they gave him during his time with them.
A Visitation will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 from 10:00 to 10:45 am and Memorial Services will follow at 11:00 am, at the LDS Church, 3775 E Ustick Rd, Meridian, ID.
