Bobby Louis Williams, 69 of Star, Idaho passed away May 27, 2018. Bobby was born on December 14, 1948 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Jeanette L., and Bobby James Williams.
Bobby served 10 years with the United States Army serving 2 tours in Vietnam as a sniper patrol squad leader and helicopter door gunner. Later he worked for the United States Postal Service as a manager for 27 years. During his retirement, Bobby worked for the I.D.O.C. and was a school bus driver.
Bobby was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Bobby is survived by his wife Donna L. Williams of 22 years, his children Troy (Emily) Williams of McMinnville, Or., Cory Williams of Galena, Il., Tammy (Bill) Warnick of Eagle, Id., Harold Hays Jr. of Dallas, Tx., Cindy Gray of Jonesboro, Ar. Grandchildren, Michael Williams of McMinnville, Or, Katherine Williams of McMinnville, Or., Joshua Merritt of Colorado Springs, Co., Christina (Brett) Barnette of Marion, Ar., Quinton Merritt of Conway, AR., Laura Merritt of Jonesboro, Ar., Payton Warnick of Rexburg, Id. Leah Warnick of Eagle, Id., Audrey Warnick of Eagle, Id., Great Grandchildren Preslee Barnette, Olivia Barnette, and Adaline Barnette of Marion, Ar. Mother, Jeanette L. Williams of Jonesboro, LA., sisters Gladys Williams of Castor, LA., Glenda Ann (Parker) Cruthis, Mounds, OK.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father Bobby James, and brother Jackie Ray.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 9400 Floating Feather, Star, Idaho. A viewing will be held one hour prior to service. A committal service will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Idaho State Veterans located at 10100 Horseshoe Bend Road, Boise.
