Virginia WaltonDecember 12, 1933 ~ September 10, 2017 (age 83)
Virginia Walton, a loving wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, fell peacefully asleep in death Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the age of 83. Virginia was born in Gooding, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Edgar Walton. She is survived by her loving children, Murry (Julie) Walton, Craig (Joni) Walton, Valerie (Bob) Holcomb; proud grandmother to grandchildren Nate (Jana) Walton, Luke (Nicole) Walton, Jessica (Dathan) Rienstra, and great-grandchildren Shae and Madi. She also deeply loved and cared for her beloved cat Teddy.
Her family were true pioneers coming from Arkansas to Idaho in a covered wagon. As a pretty red haired young girl, she caught the eye of a handsome young man who fell in love with her at first sight and their storybook romance began.
Virginia treasured spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her love of friends and flowers, her generosity and her excellent memory. She enjoyed staying in touch with all of her old friends.
Virginia also loved and cherished being a Jehovah’s Witness. Even though she became disabled, she would go door to door to speak about God and share His word from the Bible. She continued to participate in Bible studies and encouraging others from the scriptures.
She will live in our hearts and our stories until the wonderful day we will see her again in perfect health when Jehovah God makes this earth a paradise. Virginia will be so happy to work on this earth. She loved the beauty of God’s creation, especially flowers. She was convinced and looked forward to the time when Revelation 21:3, 4 will become a reality.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 3299 S. Roosevelt St., Boise, ID 83705 at 6:30p.m. Saturday, September 23rd.
