Paige Michelle Passey

August 13, 1968 ~ April 30, 2017 (age 48)

Paige Michaelle Passey, 48, passed away on April 30th 2017 at St. Alphonsus hospital in Boise, Idaho after a short illness.  She was surrounded by family and friends who loved her and will dearly miss her.

Paige was born Paige Michaelle Morrow on August 13th, 1968 at the old St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, Idaho.  She was the youngest of three.  She grew up in the North End and went to Washington Elementary. While in grade school she was a member of the Backyard Gang, a group of 8 children who performed at local care centers.  We thank Mr. Griffin for recognizing Paige's singing voice at an early age.  Paige then went to North Junior High and then Boise High School.  She blended well and was popular with her classmates.   Music was an important part of her life.  Paige could sing amazingly well.  She was often asked to perform at weddings, and could beautifully sing without musical back up.   She had many friends throughout her youth who continued to be lifelong friends today.

She enjoyed her time after high school. She worked in both the retail and food industry.  She then decided to visit Soda Springs, Idaho.  Paige’s cousin Ann Perry lived there with her family.  While there, she met and married Todd Passey. They had 2 sons, Tanner, now 25 and Trevor now 19.  She and Todd embraced the outdoor life and she loved her family.  She and Ann continued to enjoy their lives in Soda for many years while raising their children together.  Eventually Paige decided to move to Boise.

While in Boise she rekindled with old friends and made new ones.  She loved watching her boys grow up and was so happy to be part of their lives.  She was such a proud mom as she watched her son Tanner excel in football and her son Trevor earn college scholarships. They all loved watching movies together and she could tell you who starred in nearly any movie.  She continued to work in the service industry.  The restaurant business was in her blood as she was a fantastic server and an excellent cook.

Although she adored her sons, she was even more ecstatic when her grandson Thaddeus came into her life nearly 3 years ago.  Paige would tell friends and family that days with Thaddeus were some of her most fulfilling.

Paige definitely had a flare for the dramatic.  She could tell a superb joke and her one-liners were hilarious.  Paige’s true gifts were her sense of humor and the ability to make someone feel comfortable.  She was a Leo and a natural cat lover. She had many cats throughout her life. Her favorite color was red and she loved beauty of all sorts.  She loved to be dressed impeccably and she had a marvelous wardrobe, and certainly tons of shoes.

She loved fearlessly and stood for what she believed in.  Paige made the world a more enlightened place.  We are thankful for the many years we had with her and wish her peace on her newest journey.

She is survived by her mother Nancy Morrow, her siblings Paris Morrow, Monday Cyphers-Marek, Eric Smith, Dax Morrow, Kerri Swetch, and Mandolyn Zimel.  She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, and her boyfriend Steve Strand.  She was preceded in death by her beloved niece Whitney Shay Morrow.
