Annette “Cookie” Carlson, also known as Meme, 73, of Caldwell, Idaho passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Carlson, her son, Steve (Kim) Carlson, and her daughter, Lori (Tim) Manning. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Taylor Manning, grandson, Tyler Carlson, her brother, Jeff (Debbie) Hall and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Dolly Hall, and her brothers Jim and Ronnie Hall.
Annette was born November 4, 1943 in McAlester, Oklahoma. She was raised in Sunnyslope area near Marsing, Idaho. She graduated from Marsing High School.
On June 23, 1964 she married her husband Larry Carlson of Wilder, Idaho. There, the two of them raised their two children. She was a stay at home mom, worked for West Valley Medical Center, and until she retired, she spent nearly 25 years working at Blaisdell Dental Center.
Annette spent countless hours in the kitchen making her world-famous pies, making sure her house was spotless, and spending time with her family. Her happiest moments were with her grandchildren and being surrounded by family. “Meme, you really are our only sunshine. We love and miss you with our whole hearts, and we look forward to the day we get to see your warm smile once again”.
Her family is comforted knowing Annette is now in a better place and resting peacefully. Your kind thoughts and fond memories of Annette are greatly appreciated at this time. Instead of gifts or flowers, donations could be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, on Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Wilder Cemetery in Wilder.
